double trouble

All of us in our lives at one moment or another, do have a split personality. When we are out of control, we don't know how to react/what to do. Our inner self dwells in a particular way but we seek to be someone else for some trivial reasons rather desires . We act in a fake way with people around us, however we ignore the path that our inner voice guides us. Our principles contradict with our actions and the result is an illusion created by us for people around us and for our own inner self. We then carry a dual nature - a split personality. Just then we are confused, we are blind, we lose out identity. We are not in harmony with our inner self at that juncture. After that in every action, in every conservation, in every thought; real happiness fades away and all thats left is a shadow of falsehood and lust.

'It is better to affront the world while serving your consciousness than to affront your consciousness trying to please the world.'

A beautiful day indeed

When a student comes to you and say these words: "You're the best teacher I have ever got!" It surely brightens up your day. And that sunshine brings the good news of you being a successful person in achieving your aim.

And here are my words: "Thank you S and you're the best student I have ever got! Not only because you have made my day but also because of that fact that you are indeed the best in the class.. results and your class performance confirms this fact. Cheers!!"

Mr. Me is so happy today =P.. yaay!!

me can't live in this room

Mommy dear says that he is a very naughty mouse. He ate our bathroom door, eventually making a hole in it, which have been repaired now.

But now, I say that my mom is very naughty because she has sprayed some disgusting insect-killing formula, the smell is unbearable and to my knowledge, it only works on humans. My room stinks. I am fainting... fell down <:O/ Ambulance please!!

What is in the name?

I write my name as Raheel and the 'name analysis' of it was partially true. The things to which I can relate are in italics:

The name Raheel creates the urge to be friendly and diplomatic, but we point out that it limits your versatility and vision, tuning you to technical details. This name, when combined with the last name, can frustrate happiness, contentment, and and success, as well as cause health weaknesses in the fluid and elimination system.

The name of Raheel incorporates a potential aptitude for concentration and patient, logical thought along mechanical or scientific lines. You tend to prefer to follow normal routine rather than cope with the disruption and uncertainty entailed in trying something new. You gravitate to situations where you have stability and the opportunity to make slow step-by-step progress, preferably in a technical field. Procrastination and lack of self-confidence may restrict your success.

~~~~~~
However, the analysis of the RAHIL version turned out with the most accurate description:
Though the name Rahil creates the urge to be creative and original, we stress through a scattered and emotional nature, you suffer frustration. This name, when combined with the last name, can frustrate happiness, contentment, and success, as well as cause health weaknesses in the liver, bloodstream, and in tension or accidents to the head.
Rahil as a first name gives you a very independent(not really) nature, yet you are friendly, approachable, and generous. You can be a spontaneous, expressive, and talkative person. Generally you are good-natured, though at times you can be rather blunt and sarcastic. This name incorporates creative, artistic, and musical abilities, and there would be an element of originality in all that you do. You like to do things on the spur of the moment without planning or prior arrangements. Your spirits are buoyed up greatly by encouragement and appreciation.
Take the analysis here.
Hate you KESC.. diediedie
Karachi is pretty hot these days and by now you already know it. When electricity's load shedding is in routine(for min 1-2 hours and max 8-12 hours) in such scroching heat where even camels can't survive, it becomes greatest turmoil for we, the helpless citizens. Either this heat will make you sick or God forbid if you are already a patient and if it's a life-threatening disease then you know that your death call can come at any minute.
Therefore when you just get completely frustrated by this electricity problem and you dial a call for registering a request to the KESC complain department, they either don't pick up your call because they are busy sleeping by already ruining our sleeps or luckily if they do pick it, you will get some similar rude answers:
karachite: we don't have electricity in our home, please do something.
operator : WHY ARE YOU ANNOYING ME. BURN A CANDLE AND GO TO SLEEP.(caps used for shouting mode, just incase you don't know)
or maybe something like this,
karachite: hamare saamne wale ghar mein light aagayi hai, lekin hamare ghar ki nahi aayi. (Our neighbours got their electricity supply back but we still don't have electricity in our house)
operator : bibi isliye aagayi hogi kyunke unke aamaal ache honge.(Maybe they are pious people so they got their electricity back)
What a shit!! Hate you KESC. diediedie
And for all those people in big authoritarian positions; because of your insensitivity many people died in Islamabad and Lahore by not being able to bear this heat. But why would you care, you don't even understand the value of a person's life as you are relaxing your butts in an air-conditioned room without showing any concern. Go to hell, just switch of your ACs and fans and then you will know how it feels living-n-dieing in hell.
Karachi at Dawn
Karachi looks so beautiful at dawn by the grace of God. With touches of the greenery at the road sides, everything else appears as if it is covered with a grey translucent satin. If you are at the streets of Karachi in between 6am and 8 am, you can feel the refreshing breeze - your first step towards tranquillity. You can see the colours of nature in their supreme beauty as if they are narrating you an impressive account of God's glory. Serene moments with not a single noise except the sweet voices of the birds which gets you going and all you want is to raise your head high towards the infinte sky as if you were a flower.
If someone gives me a choice of selecting the most beautiful spot of my city at these hours, it would be the Quaid's tomb undoubtedly. I just love the landscape and feel of the place which is picture perfect.
For the first time in my life, I have enjoyed a ride in our not-so-nice public buses. The reason are listed below:
  • The bus was vacant and airy.
  • The weather was lurrvely back then, now it sucks bigtyme.
  • It wasn't playing anything, not even irritating pushto songs.
  • I had Kahlil Gibran's writings with me.
  • The breeze was so refreshing.
  • The beauty of Karachi was at peak today.
  • Luckily my class got over early.
  • Listening an english conversation of two pathans was highly entertaining.
  • The bus had so much space that I finished my whole assignment comprising of MCQ's while travelling.
  • I thought we would finally get our share of rains today.
  • There were no paindoos(cheap public) in the bus - I am still shocked.
  • I wasn't hungry.
  • And the bus was fast but was travelling very smoothly, the driver must have been in a good mood.
yaay!! it was a nice journey, a rare experience indeed.
Bad.. Bad Day
I had only 3 hours of sleep last night, reason the hot weather; and did I mention the horrifying ghost dreams which left me feeling totally numb? I went to school in that sleepy state and what comes to my knowledge is that 'the class is cancelled' arrgh! Then fetched a bus. It played all types of stupid unpleasant songs whether its a paindoo cheap hindi movie track or a punjabi/pushto number. The patha huwa speaker playing straight into my head and I am half deaf now. Completely annoyed.
I came home and It was so hot in here, no electricity. I hate KESC(Karachi Electricity Supply Corporation). I want cold showers and rains so badly. I am literally melting. I am dieing in this heat. And the worst part is I can't drink cold drinks/refreshing limo-pani, eat ice creams.. not even some drops of cold water, reason my tonsils and cough problem. My head is spinning like CD and its boiling like hell. Anyone wants some bheja (brain) fry?
price of the race
Since two years, in the month of May, I have seen extreme violence happening in my city or any other area of Pakistan. I hate to say this but now we are experiencing a well-planned terrorism in my lovely Karachi. This is my observation:
Friday, 31 May 2005 - a bomb attack on the Ali Raza Imam Bargah mosque in Karachi
Friday, 27 May 2005 - a suicidal bomb attack during a religious gathering in the compound of the Bari Imam shrine
Monday, 30 May 2005 - a suicidal bomb attack on a mosque and Imam Bargah Madina-tul-Ilm in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi.
Two out of three incidents took place on Friday, a sacred day for Muslims. The remaining one on Monday, which is actually the starting day of the Week. They are the perfect days for provoking some anger in our public a.k.a. emotional fools. Target: a religious place so the victims plus the offended ones are in large quantity. Result: massive killings and casualties and then riots in the city because of either the religious/emotional connection or just simple anger. However some political propaganda was also involved. The strikes followed which affected the business of a local man badly. The main objective behind these attempts was to distract public's attention from the upcoming budget which is announced soon after May; usually in the month of June. Concurrently it serves as a great platform for political parties in the opposition to point fingers at the city government.
But again is it fair to kill zillions of innocent people in this race of political might? Is it worth for a terrorists to sell his precious life for some bucks? Is it fair to ruin families of the dead victims for interest for some selfishly greedy mortal individuals?
Now both of us(you and me) can make a clever prediction for may 2006. I hope I am wrong, only time will tell. I love Karachi, I love Humanity, I can't see it falling apart.
PS: It took me a whole month to ponder over the reason of these attacks and the conclusion is pretty logical. There was nothing shocking in it but definitely worth noticing and thinking. It might be wrong(or you may disagree) but it is the most appropriate inference that I could get to.
uff yeh garmi - this heat is killing me
I have never hated summers this way. Karachi has changed itself from being a warm city to a BOiLING one. It was freaking hot today. I was already feeling sleepy, thanks to the big assignment which took nearly whole night to get completed and in addition, with all that heat I was feeling like a roasted chicken. My eyes looked like red hot coal, it was burning intensively and did I tell you that my head was also sizzling(i know it sounds funny but this is what I felt). There was no water-not a single drop, thanks goodness I didn't fell unconscious. Sorry there is a mistake, there was a water bottle in my school bag but the moment I carried the bag on my shoulder and left the school, it just annoyingly stuck to my pant's loop and till now I haven't succeeded in detaching the lost mad lovers. They are looking like the hottest gay couple in the town :lol: Today's home work would probably take ages to get finished so I better move my butt and do some serious labor.
What is your wise quote?
Kind person
Your wise quote is: "Be kind to unkind people, they probably need it the most"
byAshleigh Brilliant.
You try to look beyond apperance, try to give people second chances and are probably very kind. Understanding is your biggest personality trait, and thoose you can see through should be grateful. If they aren't already. You detest narrow minded people, because they can't see what's really there. Facades is not your thing and you strive to always be who you really are.
What wise quote fits you?
Yaaron Ka Concert
When there is a special day, a special program on TV and a holiday then you gotta celebrate! Ate delicious pasta with garlic bread, potato skins with sour cream and ofcourse some PEPSI(chupke chupke pee thee); a bar of snicker to finish it off. Don't get jealous!! now after all this yummy delight which is actually a torture to my tonsils.. God have mercy on me. I don't wanna collapse again. I don't wanna fall ill one more time.
Watched Yaaron Ka Concert - a post Indian Idol extravaganza. Enjoyed it to the fullest. Here is the review of concert, The show was hosted by very talented and charasmatic Mini Mathur. She is did a kickass job. The first act was pretty rough, sounded like a song with mismatched vocals of three junkies. Then came Abhijeet Sawant and I was bored for a little while because now I am completely tired with the same one song that he sings on every single program. Aditi Paul was at her best, she made my day. I was so happy to see her again and glad to listen his gifted voice. Her charm is everlasting. Prajakta Shukre also impressed me abundantly, this time she was awesome which is a rare thing.
I hate this person called Rahul Vaidhya. He is nothing less than a clown, even worse.. atleast clown can entertain but unfortunately he can't. Then the punjabi boys Mukesh and Ravi and they set the stage on fire. I am sure the audience had a ballon their number. It was exciting to see all 11 finalist again on the same stage singing the title track of their first album Pal. Then trios came.. Amit tandon was good for the first time, Vishal Kothari and Rahul Saxena did a fair job too. Again the highlight was ADITI PAUL. She rocks man. Did I said something about Amit Sana.. he tried his best too and didn't fail to grasp my attention.
Grand Finale was a disaster. The main song of their upcoming album YAARON sung by all 11 finalists. No problems because in such live acts, mistakes are bound to happen. I listened the recorded track, it is the best song I have heard so far by them. The video is rocking, I love eveything about it - the feel, the camera work, the effects, the art direction, the concept every single thing. The only disappointment was that organizers didn't gave any respectable chance to Hareesh. He should've have been given more footage and atleast one solo song to sing.
Anyways It was a nice evening filled with happy moments, soothing music and scrumptious food. Thanks God and please keep me miles away from bad health.
Papa Jaani's Day
I don't do anything special on Father's Day because a heartiest wish in particular is the most valuable thing for my daddy dear. Like any other son around the block, I always have issues with my dad. We both are constantly playing with each other by passing arguments and doing all the mad stuff; and I know we both enjoy it equally well. Without those tits and bits of laughter and fights, world would never be the same. Thanks God for giving me such a nice father who cares for me like anything, who loves me more than anything and who is always ready to do anything for happiness of his spoiled brat.
So Dad Love ya very very much. Thanks for doing everything and for going an inch ahead every time to gimme every single thing that I have ever wished. And don't forget that my pasta is due on you.
Best Wishes of Father's Day to three important people in my life.. my tayas.. my lovely handsome Pappas. Love ya too.
So all the pappas and their children, Have a blast! All of my nicest prayers with you.
is title required?
When someone is annoyed with you, he is shouting like hell at you, scolding you if he is a professor, or simply mad at you then all you have to do is to show him your 100 watt wide sarcastic smile and I bet, you will automatically embarrass him to his knees.. the next moment he will be crying inside, indication: he will instantly stop his screaming act and you will win the race!
never let your self-esteem suffer and never get ashamed on the things that don't deserve such reactions.
Open House
Drama is the soul of Karachi. You will see it happening every where. We karachites are born actors. The dramatic tu-tu-mein-mein between local-ninjas, the one man act by beggars, the dramtic one-rupee-fights between passengers and bus conductor, the local riots, the political campaigns, after effects of the gossip talks, radio shows and what not; my observation proves the fact that it lies in every single little corner of my dear city. Even somewhere in my blood too. So either continue being fake or just BE HONEST!
Bank Misery
I visited a bank lately. I think it is very annoying to go to a place where you don't know what to do. All that you see is people busy in their OWN bloody work and if you ask one question, most of time you feel completely embarrassed. It has always been a terrible experience in beginning when you are lost in deep thought about what to do, where to do, how to do and also what-not to do, where-not to do and how-not to do. It is the fear of doing something wrong where money and time is involved and you don’t want to make a fool out of yourself in front of damn-nonsense-unknown public. And then a guiding hand comes to your rescue, you make sure about getting all of your work done correctly and finally you step out of the bank saying ALL IS WELL THAT ENDS WELL.
Damn-those-Dreams
Dreams are reflection of one's personality; an audio-visual experience in sleep in which you can rarely feel anything but sometimes emotions does play a part in it. Dreams are representation of suppress feelings, desires and aims of a person. In short, it is a key made by God which can open doors leading to your inner self which gives you a chance to understand your own self.
Such was the last night filled with dreams. The previous night scared the hell outta me. It was creepier than any million-dollar horror movie. I had dreams of mass killings, torture on innocent lives and graveyards full of dead bodies of victims of acute voilence. All I could see was cuts, wound, blood, smoke, scars created from knife, people on burining cross, fire and the person who was doing all this was a very respected and kind-hearted person.The frames were painted only in the shades of red, grey, blue and green. I sensed extreme fear and death. I am still trying to intrepret the dreams I had. They were many. I have only written about the one which depressed me like anything. I experienced a damn-dream-saga yesternight that can win an Oscar for sure.
Random-ness
  • I am missing some important people in my life.
  • I can't sleep with hugging a pillow against my chest, maybe I am feeling insecure.
  • I don't get angry nowadays.
  • I am feeling more religious and optimistic nowadays.
  • I am dreaming BIG.
  • I don't feel like writing big posts.
  • I love dancing on Ali Azmat's song 'Dil-ne-Dil-se-Kaha'. I imagine myself at a beach party in hawaii under a banana tree. It makes dance, It makes me happy. The middle part is filled with sadness and lonely-missing-you feelings. That is the magic of this song. This is one of the best songs that I have heard in recent times. You should also give it a try!
  • I wanna read but I get lazy.
  • Am I still normal?
tinted reflection
Butterflies are the prettiest insect created by God Almighty. When they are in front of my eyes, shining high with their colours and textures, I see hope in them. I see the sacrifice of a pupa(enclosed in a cocoon) to win the beauty. I see the aura of freedom all around them; freedom of choice, freedom of perception, freedom of expression, freedom of love, in short they are multi-facets of liberty. I find them realistic/practical because they are capable of flying high and achieving their aims and dreams but still they are close to ground. This shows how modest and humble they are, how well they know the importance of their roots.
Delicate as they and their senses are, they can feel that is indescribable, they can smell the scents which are immortal, they can protect the sweetness of nectar in their body. Sweetness which glows in the colours of its wings; capable of bringing happiness and smiles in lives of millions. I see creativity and art flaunting out of them like lava erupting various shades of streamlined reds, oranges and yellows. Diversity is their passion, they come in different sizes, colours and shape.. yet all of them are beautiful and special in their own unique way.
At times I also connect with the butterfly, lost somewhere deep inside me, crushed by my own criminal hands. Sometimes I feel there is a butterfly in me too.
ailment fest
My immune system is not happy with me. I don't know it is the revenge of which sin?? This is second consecutive week in which I am AGAIN ill. Inspite of highest level of temperance and control over unhealthy food.. history is repeating itself I have same body pain, same cough, same tonsils, same Flu, same breathing problem. Last night I have seen death or rather hell and I have realized that nothing is more important than health. Now it is the time when I have to seriously think about changing my lifestyle but again some things are undoubtedly beyond my reach.
annoyed
My net is giving me a hard time nowadays. I can't tolerate it anymore. I am unable to visit even my favorite blogs.
Another thing which irritates me quite often are those people who ask me now and then rather every week that when are your exams? how well they went? and everytime my answer is the same, 'How many times should I tell you that my exams usually take place in mid of June and December' I am also thinking of getting a t-shirt printed with this slogan: 'front:DONT ASK ME ABOUT MY EXAMS, back:THEY ARE ALREADY OVER!"
d'amour with france
I would love to visit France one day. The style and hospitality attracts me to fall under its grace. Walking under the shelter of Eiffel tower, streching my arms to hug it while eating chocolates and almonds will be my guilty pleasure. All that I can smell would be colognes and perfumes on the street of Paris, and an eden of fashion will be waiting for me with flashy lights welcoming me into this world. I would attend Flower Parade, dancing along the field of flowers with beautiful people. I would drink coffee on the road-side cafes and would eat Italian Food all day long. Pizza, Salads and Pasta would be my purpose of living. I would go for a blood test and the report will state 'Olive Oil' as my blood group. I would be buying loadz of watches and colognes, one for each day of my charming life. I would be speaking french, eating french fries with some french toast. And with accepting the gift of a lot of memories I would say au revoir!, adieu! to the lurvely city.
K
School on sunday too, argh!! extra classes suck big time.
Karachi is polluted, noisy and corrupt. Even the law enforcers are the biggest pests. I was travelling in an absolutely-horrible-loud-rickshaw and all this happened. A traffic police officer stopped it and asked papers from the rickshaw-wala in the most evocative way by picking his front pocket. He took 20 rupees as bribe and then put it in his pocket in a careful way so none can see him and this was happening in front of the prison.
This was not enough for today. One of the pests literally fetched a bus in order to take his hafta(bribe). What an aukaat(repute)! bloody misers.
My horoscope for today:
Your moods could be mercurial right now, RAHEEL. One moment, you might feel ecstatic. You'll be joking with your friends and experiencing positive emotions. The next moment, this energy could change. You might suddenly find yourself thinking about some of the difficult times in your life. Don't allow yourself to sink into a depression, because those old events have no power over you anymore. Wonderful opportunities are opening up for you, so focus on the positive!
This is what Raheel have to say:
Interesting, pretty true!!
poor man-not-kind
Some people are impossible so is A. I hate him. If it was ethical and lawful, I would have killed him at the very instance. I don’t know what is wrong with him. I know a person should forget and forgive but how many times can I let it go? Is this because of his immaturity? Why should I bother? The thing which is wrong can’t be stated as right. He has a foul tongue, he don’t think anything before speaking. He wants to criticize other and say bad things about others in the rudest manner. AA you don’t know how much you have hurt me. And if you think that’s no one is better than you than take 50 cents from me. All I can do is pray that God can make your mind a little conscientious. Few minutes earlier, It was a dilemma that should I write about this or not, but believe me, I am not writing this to spit my frustrations out. This is an opportunity or say a global appeal that please try to be such creature so that WE, the human race can proudly call you a HUMAN. If you think I don’t have any minds than hey Mr. AA just go and wash your face. I am surely not the first person who is writing such post about you or rather giving these odious words. And if any of you have such weaknesses, please try to mend it or else such comments will ruin you.
PS: If incase, after reading this post you feel that there is no difference between me and him than let me remind you again this is not a revengeful post, no hard feelings for A but a chance for others to evaluate and improve themselves.
I am angry rather frustrated. Disappointment has hit me hard. Door of Opportunities had closed for the day and maybe for more coming days. But no problem, my conscience surely know that it is for the betterment. Things will happen in a way they are bound to happen. I have experienced it so I believe this karma with my emotional intelligence too. God always knows better than you. Optimism and postive thinking makes life easier to a great extent so don't perceive that glass is half empty.
Bloggy Phenomenon
Recently, I have seen many people closing their blogs and opening new ones or simply de-pulicising it. They find blogging a personal thing or it is their gradual transformation to this school of thought. When you get published online, you are exposed to the whole www-community. Everyone and anyone can excess your blog and its not an easy task to hide your identity. If you think its a personal thing for you than I think you are at a wrong place. Go grab your notebook or diary and write as much as you like. Don't mistakenly take me as rude but its a fact. I am criticizing anyone, I am telling a plain truth. First and foremost, you have to wise to conceal your blog. I suppose there should be something like password protection for viewing the stuff and should be shared with your selected readers.
Blogging can be an interactive platform, fun discussion or maybe a personal thing but you can not igonre this fact that in any possible way, it is a search of your own inner self. Again a matter of choice whether you would like to keep it to yourself or share it with othersm, get benefit from their insightful and interesting approaches - helping you in expanding your circle of influence.
TIP: for all those possessive owners; If you don't want it to be public, you can simply write FIRST ASK PERMISSION and if he is honest(like me), he won't read it again if you him them to go away.
I want your prayers.
The bus in which I was travelling today was something beyond than a sports car, obviously not in BHARAM(style) but in SPEED. Driver was driving so fast for over-taking another bus that the only thing that I can think in my mind was a cheap-bolly-song JAANLEWA!! lol. Then God came, slapped the driver and he got his senses back.
Btw all those who protested in the city somedays ago against TERRORISTS are themselves members of the creed. The KFC event is a bloody witness in front of everyone's eyes.
An opportunity will be waiting for me tomorrow, so please pray for me - Amen. Please pray to HIM that I can my dreams come true, ofcourse with HIS help. God please help me, I know you have already done alot for me in advance and I am thankful.
Thoughts on 2nd June 2005
Listening to: Na-re-Na... hooked up to this song.
Today was a nice day. My accounting professor was in a good mood, when he smiles whole atmosphere brightens up. He doesn't look cool but he, an about 40+ year old male is the cutest teacher according to some gals. Anyways this was a unique lecture:
Sir: If we want to buy, yaar wohi jo office mein lage huwe hain TV type
Me: yes sir, monitor
Sir: ya woh abc wala
Me: its called keyboard
Sir: ya phir woh jis se Photocopy nikalti hai, I mean printer
Me: you are right this time sir!
LOL.. and he continued with details on invoice.
then we discussed about types of expenditures with examples having a allusion of pathetic public transport. Surely a nice way of learning accounting with fun plus it was also a review of our social mediocracy.
Did I tell you that today our class was looking like a kitchen? Don't ask why.
random thoughts
My doctor says I have bulky tonsils. In order to stay healthy, I can't eat-ketchup, spicy food, sour fruits, icecream, can't drink cold-water-or-drinks. In order to lose weight, I have to stop eating oily-n-fattening food. Inshort I am here to starve. Did I mention the 1 hr walk?
After all the laziness, I finally managed to have a haircut today. Didn't like it as usual.
I want more holidays.
I have alot of pending home-work to complete.
Karachi is getting hotter and hotter day by day.
I am writing this stupid post because I have nothing to blog about.
..and incase if you don't know, its June 1st toda.
