That is what I call FUN!!

Just got free from watching a telefilm "Chauraha"(Intersection) on GeoTV. The same film was also featured in Kara. I found it thought-provoking, and its always nice to see a sensible film. The story and script lacked on some major areas. Most of the songs were unneccessory but the location and the camerawork was damn brilliant. The film narrated a story set in era of 1980's, about five friends who daily meet at night at an intersection to discuss the criminal activities in which they indulged throughout the day. It talked about how crimes, corruption and socio-political disputes evolve and how the new generation gets involved in it. Under the layers, different social issues were also discussed.

GeoTV shows telefilms every sunday at 10:30 PM PKT. Its a great step in order to promote pakistani talent. Our media industry is booming, but the fact that we can't deny is that the talent doesn't get recongnized so easily. You gotta need contacts or else you're no where and that is so wrong! In addition to it, there aren't much institutes where you can learn about filmmaking and theatre arts in Karachi or even in Pakistan as whole.

Yours truly is a complete movie buff, but he has a exam on wednesday so like always I need your exponential prayers. So keep praying and in the meantime tusi chill kero!!

Cya
